ENGC Membership Information


Membership:
Please read the entire page before emailing or calling. Michael Phan handles all membership and renewal issues, as well as takes changes of address for current members. Michael can be reached by phone at 402-301-5110 or by email at
engcmem@cox.netPreregistration is not required for scheduled inductions.

Members who did not renew by Nov. 30, 2011, have been dropped and must pay the $120 induction fee in addition to the $120 dues to be reinstated in the club.
A link to the renewal form is here (this link is for current members only). Current NRA expiration date proof must be submitted for all annual NRA members. Mail the late renewal to Michael Phan at 2003 Petersen Dr., Papillion, NE 68046.


2013 ENGC Induction briefing schedule (Subject to change):

No one can join the ENGC at any time other than a scheduled New Member Induction Briefing, and we cannot accommodate any prospective members' requests for alternate times to join. We do not accept new member applications via mail they must be done in person at a scheduled briefing. Membership applications will be passed out at the induction briefings.


February 19, 2013
briefing – $120 induction fee and $90 dues - ($210 total)
April 16, 2013 briefing – $120 induction fee and $60 dues - ($180 total)
July 16, 2013 briefing – $120 induction fee and $30 dues - ($150 total)
October 15, 2013 briefing – $120 induction fee and $120 dues ($240 total)

When: 6:45 pm. Sign in and receive application and information package. Briefing will take place after the regularly scheduled monthly meeting. Regular monthly meeting starts at 7:00 pm. Induction briefing time is approximately 30 minutes.

Membership Requirements: Our bylaws require the following; NRA Membership, background check, and an ID indicating you are age 21 or older. You must present these when applying for membership along with your application at the induction briefing. Not having any of these will delay issuance of a membership with ENGC. Please get this ahead of time.

NRA Membership- Sign up on line cost is approximately $35 per year. Proof of NRA membership includes any one of the following: NRA Membership card, magazine label, or email from NRA. You can join the NRA or renew your dues through a link on this website and ENGC receives some financial benefit from the NRA. Join the NRA.

Background checks accepted: Nebraska (or Iowa) Firearm Purchase Certificate/Permit
Federal Firearms License
Police Background Check
Active Duty Military ID
Current CCW License

ID cards: driver’s license, or state ID cards, military ID, LE ID…

Payment: Check, cash, or money order. We do not currently have provisions for accepting credit cards for membership/induction fee payments. Make checks payable to Eastern Nebraska Gun Club or ENGC. Payment is for the full amount of membership and induction fee (prorated dues and the induction fee), there will be a $25 service fee on checks returned for insufficient funds. (Pro-rated dues only apply for new members at the induction briefings)

Range Tours:  Presently there are no provisions for a guest tour of the range. Please see About ENGC, and/or Satellite View powered by Google. As a suggested method of seeing our range, check the match schedule posted on our website (Schedule Page) and go to a scheduled match to visit the range prior to induction.

All club memberships expire October 31 of the calendar year.
Yearly dues renewal period will be August through October of the calendar year.

Prohibited Firearms: 50 cal BMG, or any rifles built on a necked up/down 50 BMG casings, no “automatic” firing of selective fire firearms.

Prohibited Ammunition: We do not allow tracer, armor piercing, armor-piercing incendiary, steel core or any type of explosive rounds to be shot at silhouette beams, or gongs. Full metal jacket rounds are okay for target and competition firing. You must use “trap” loads on the trap range in sizes 7-1/2 or 8 shot only.
